    I somehow feel this isn't exactely appropriate.

    By the way, my parents both work in prisons (lawyer/social worker). Believe me, murderers are usually the by far least dangerous criminals there are. 99% of them did not exactely kill for the fun of it, but mostly because they were under incredible psychical pressure (like abusive marriages, to name the most obvious example). Once out of this situation, and in psychological help, they are as dangerous as you or me.
