Thats some sweet shizzle. I can already imagine somone creating an entire desktop using this method, and since it dosen't use any proprietary technology (Its made with Python, C, C++, and OpenGL) theres no reason it would cost thousands of dollars.

Just found this on Penny Arcade. It's the sort of thing that you can just look at being used and think "ooooh, pretty. I want one." I can definitely see this augmenting or replacing traditional DJ decks for pros within the next few years.
