Several american BCK members play on roobs, and they have a ping of 130-150, just coma along anfd find out ^_^

The old server has a massively superior inernet connection, and you may find incredible pings on there. It will remain up until the 30th of this month. The new one is still on a good line, so you shouldn't have any problems with connection, even from the states.

This is great. Bad news is, my comp hates me and and can't even start. I'll have to format my hard drive, but stupid compaq didnt give the bloody installation disks for xp. I was on there yesterday, pings are very nice, however 8 reserved slots? You do relise if someone who has a reserved slot joins the server before it hits 12, it still saves 8 seats. It makes it extreamly difficult for games to go over 12 players. I think it'll be a rare sight to see 20 players ever playing on that server. 8 slots however is a tad too many. Sorry to spoil the line of good comments roob, but being called cheat on that server for the first time ever says a lot about the players who are now playing on there.

Well, I have been awarded a reserved slot, for which I am very gratefull, and every time I connect it says my password is accepted... sooo.... my guess is, that everyone with the permission to use a reserved slot, uses one, and doesn't take up a public one.
Ka-rak, what muppet called you a cheat? Couldn't have been a regular! You have been playing there for quite a while, all the regulars know you and your skills. *no time for muppets* doesnt mean that they absolutely can't get in, we just try to get them out again asap.

Day after the server came online again we had 19 people at about 14:00 GMT, so I really think that the people who have access to reserved slots use them automatically, and I wouldn't worry about seeing 20 players...

Need to sort out reserve slots, weve got 17 NS members (about 10 that play regularly) and 2 reserve slots works fine.
Didn't have a very good time on it earlier cos of exploiters and team stackers, but I'm certain I just went on at a bad time. The reserve slots are working fine. THere are 12 public slots, which do NOT get used by any of the reserved slot players. The aim of this is to generally strike a good game balance, typically 6v6 - 8v8 sometimes up to 10 per team - though that in my opinion is too many. It achieves this balance while allowing the maximum number of non-subscribers access to the server and allowing those who have helped to pay for the server access whenever they choose.
Kar, I have seen you on the server a while ago, and I can testify to your good character. Anyone calls you a cheater (in a non-joking way of course!!), you send them to me.
As far as calls of "cheat" go: Contact either me, eaglec, dms, phoebubba or benbubba. DO NOT accuse anyone of cheating directly, contact an admin, record a demo if needs be.

I believe phoe (im guessing here lol) was on the rcon console at the time, although thats all forgotten now heh.
I had another bash earler this evening with Dux and Blaike, we managed to get a good game going, very smooth play. Its actually nice to play on a server where it hardly spikes at all in the endgame. Good work.
