Unless you have a clan thats getting it right away and having a server that gets updated right away as well.
Otherwise you need to wait until a substantial number of other people update, as well as the servers you play on to be updated by the owner as well.

15 minutes after CS1.5 being released our server was full.
i think about 130mb ppl have been saying, could be wrong tho
Much easier and faster then fileplanet and such
Make a backup of your configs, uninstall 1.04, install 2.0 and put the configs back into the ns folder. I <i>think</i> that will be the recommended way.
Uninstall 1.00 for most people actually, as most probably don't have the server-side patches applied.
And I think I'm going to wait a day until some fast mirrors are up. Getting it the first day might be too hard unless the team gets mirrors in advance.
Edit: Like Tyrain said.
This will be to ensure that all bugs are quashed mercilessly.
The download will be around the 110MB mark. Bear in mind this will include the new maps and sexier versions of old maps. Say goodbye to the processing rush, for example.
I'll kick up DAP and get 5 or more Mirrors going at once and BOOM!
I'll have that down in about an hour.
If I was lucky, I could DL that in about 40 mins. But I doubt I'll get a great connection to any server with 2.0 so I'll say about 1 to 2 hours! Tops

However, as always, I recommend doing a clean install when HL mods are concerned. iD-inspired code always seems to suffer during mod patching for a certain percentage of users, if only because we have inadequate test facilities and no real technical QA staff other than Flay, Grendel, and myself. Hence things like the non-american CS retail install bugs that 1.0 ran into...
This is what I mean guys. I think my post has been mis-interpreted.
I mean the script 1.0 has at the moment on the homepage saying, "1.0 has been downloaded one million times."
Most likely being a friend with t1 ^-^
