OMG!!!! (ok, Gimpy chill out) You have to have the entities enclosed. The game won't run if you have a lweak in the map. And No roof = Biggest leak you can have. Your rooms need to have roofs. All entities must be inside, away from the void. Add a friggin roof man!!!

Stick with it sniper there is alot to learn. I have been "trying" to map now for almost 2 years and Im learing something new all the time. I too started as you are. I do suggest though, checking out the forums over at verc as opposed to asking how to map here. We can support specific questions about mapping for the mod but basic stuff is better taken up here---> http://collective.valve-erc.com/index.php?area=forums.

Don't get discouraged stick with it.

sniper, I won't play moderator and ask you why you have started 3 threads with the same questions asked.

What you should do is to go search the 'net and read tutorials 'til your eyes bleed.
If you still don't get something, then read some more tutorials. There are lots of 'em.
And please run anything you post through a spell check and control the grammar....

Could it possibly - without beeing offense - that you have missed the forum FAQ? ...perhaps?
