Credits are on my ftp, it wouldn't let me upload zip files for some stupid reason so you'll have to d/l the 2 files instead, please do not complain about it not having NS arms, if you want them do them your self.

    Solution :

    Don't use skin. Use like a jacket or armor instead. It takes away from the feeling that it's stretched too much.

    i dont think its good form to release something that still hasnt been released by id, even if it is a nice shotty.
  • PFCNublarPFCNublar Join Date: 2003-04-23 Member: 15792Members
    hmm...looks...strange. if somebody, perhaps Buzzcut, did the arms, that would be absolutely perfect, and it would win my shotty position for a few rounds to be tested. it currently is...strange, expecially sticking the shells in.

    u all should calm down about the "D3 Models". mainly because they're like "trial" models cuz they're so low poly compared to the "real" ones... consider them "demos", or the stripped down versions <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    and to stumble across the topic at least once : nice model <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->

    the doom3 models are not low poly, they are the actual final models for the game, they appear higher poly in screenshots because of the dot3 bump mapping techniques. id needed graphics card support from the major companies for this game and sent a working copy alpha to ATI so they could optimise the ATI drivers for doom3. somebody at ATI leaked the alpha, carmack was screaming about it in his .plan on bluesnews. releasing a model that hasnt even been released as a game is warez no matter how you butter it up.

    <span style='color:red'>***Locked***</span> unless you're able to prove to me you modelled it from screenshots and films.
