re-sticky the releases thread
Why was it un-stickied? Sure, some of the other un-stickied ones were gathering dust and not much use, but the releases thread is rather important. Not least of all becasue it reduces the amount of flames re: people being ordered to use the search function.

(this is also hopefully going to stop that thread being filled with any more "why isn't this sticky" posts than are absolutely necessary)

edited to reply snippily to MonsE: Even if you're cleaning up, you want to keep flames to a minimum, yes? You want the new people we get around here when 1.1 is released to be able to find new models easily if they want them, oui?

The Mods are 'Cleaning the house' there was one or 2 topics that most people didn't bother looking at.

it also hit the " Calling All Sprite Artists!" topic

The Official Releases Topic is a critical spot on these forums. Over the past couple of months we've seen a drastic cut in the amount of "where is this" or "where can I get this" posts that would spam up the forums before.

Please re-sticky it, before it falls too far into the old thread abyss.

Same with the Calling All Sprite Artists topic. We need it here, not at the bottom of the fifth page.

I say this. We fetch a couple of people, find somebody with mod powers on the boards, hog tie them, throw them into a dirty closet, then hijack the forums and turn them into topics repitious like "The Scorpian That Could And Would Hovor Without Flapping!!!11"
    ...
    no.

Don't worry, this is either an omen of:
1: Unsticked to be reborn with 1.1 type models/sprites in it only. <== very likely

    2. Unsticked to show the general death of NS <== god forbid

that thread should be re-stickied, the servers and server ops forums is what needs it's sticky threads to get cleaned

calling sprite artists was pretty useless

it was only used for a few x hairs.. but it shouldve been used for sprite releases and separate forum for discussions

recent releases thread was an important one.. if u looked at the hits it had the highest of them all.. it's where we go to find the latest models out...

    nfi why ya removed it..

i know that we as a community tried a few times to make a release thread topic, but failed.

as a tip for a happy Delarosa... please, put it back as stickied...

it was more useful than warrenting "use the search you nub" threads...

The sprites thread became obsolete when the releases thread was startes, since it includes sprite releases.

At least give us a better explanation than your "We are cleaning house. Why do you question me so?" piece of flippancy, MonsE.

I third it because if its not on top then it will get lost and people will keep creating more new threads instead of just posting on the orig...
