Convert .dem To .avi Or .mpeg

I was doing a search on the web but I didnt find anything about it. Well except a method where you stack your HD with a s***load of BMP images which you have to put together with another prog to get a movie.

Isn't there a simpler method, like a converter program?

Get Fraps (www.fraps.com). It dont record sound though...

there are tools that record whatever you see on screen to create video tutorials and such.
fraps is just one of them.
