There is a MOTD.TXT but it is borked til 1.1 I think.

My understanding was that the 1.04 MOT file would work just fine if you don't make it too long. Experiment.

Yes he is, but its all gravey. Simple solution is don't use it as only 2% of your users will EVER see that being that cl_autohelp 0 on 98% of the clients.

I believe AMX Mod has a command to force one of the MOTD style boxes to show (like in CS), with content that can be specified. I have yet to experiment with this however.
