I hereby announce the founding of the 3rd NS clan,
the 28th Marines.

As our name says we are a marine clan dedicted to rid the universe from the alien incursion,

At the moment where looking for normal recruits but also for webpage designers and photoshop artists.

Maby I can try to pull mine into this mod when it comes out.. but it will only have 1 member lol and its no longer a official clan ither <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> my clan died out after someone tryed to take controll of it and the clan was split into 2 groups and both groups kinda fell apart after a whill <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

Aww not again (/me slaps himself on head), why isn't there a clan info formum?
So other ppl won't make this mistake again, coz this is frustrating, not only for me but also for others.

For one reason, clans, while important to the growth of the community, are not anywhere close to important for mod development... the stage NS is at now. I'm sure something like this will happen soon, officially, or un-officially. <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

As a side note, Marines from 28th Regt, 5th Marine Division were the men to raise the first flag on Mount Suribachi in the battle over Iwo Jima. The more famous picture shows the second raising of a bigger flag.

I just learned the other day that underneath every flagpole is a razorblade, a match (lighter?) and some sort of bullet... I'm sure MonsE can shed light on this. Apparently if you're the last person to evacuate an area, you can cut the flag down, burn it and shoot yourself if necessary. Awesome.

My clan? No way. Anyway, we didn't even saw the game! he he! WE don't have an idea how to play it. Just what we can get out of pics and stories... that's nothing! Anyway... Nobody can enter my clan, unless you're from Portugal =)

Haha, I have a CS clan like that! It is just me and 7 friends taht always joint the same severs with the {Y?} prefix. Y? has a deep multi-layered meaning.

Maybe you are supposed to shave too? Cant burn a flag if your looking scruffy now can you. Also, if your gonna die they could at least put some clean underwear there too.

I dont understand this rush to get clans out, clans will be extremely important to this game (IMHO) but how can you lead a clan when you dont even know if your any good at the game?
I reckon the only clan worth setting up is a [PT] clan which... I shouldnt have mentioned as they'd seriously win everything at the start. After all theyve been regularly been practicing for ages now and know everything there is to know about both sides.

[EC] has its fare share of Playtesters, including two of the three strong leadership (the other one is a sex crazed maniac <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> ) and the rest are die hard NS fans who play together in other mods and use voicecomms. So we should be too bad at the start.

I just dont post a lot here because im rather busy as of this month.
