A Program To "grab" A Movie From Hl...

Hey all. I've been just wondering, if anybody knew where to get a program, with which I could play Half-Life and record an AVI file at the same time...

well you can make a demo

record <demoname> in console.

Only way to get an AVI is to record a demo, use the

startmovie <demoname> <fps> command

and use VideoMach to take the BMP files which are created by using that command and creating an AVI.

Eh that would eat up a helluva lot of resources.

You can always get <a href='http://www.fraps.com' target='_blank'>FRAPS</a> and use that, but you have to be running in 640x480 in-game res, and it eats an ungodly amount of resources, producing bad-quality AVIs.
