Cd Labels

Does anyone know where I might find a CD label template in jpg format, or a tutorial to create one in PSP? See my problem is I don't have a color printer, but I know someone who does. I want to go over there and print a label, but I can't save the label I make in the software to a jpg or bmp or whatever, and I would have to install the software on his computer, not something I'm too fond about.

    You could try and get Nero. It's a CD Burner but a cover maker also comes with it.

    Just a word on labels. After a while, a labeled CD (with a stickied label) will be unusabel. The glue does indeed destroy the CD. Believe me, I tried it.

    The only way to do it is professional, buy a labeling machine. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Lol, he wanted to say that the simplest way of "non-cool" labels is with these pencils... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Here is a CD Label in Photoshop PSD format, PSP is able to read it too. The advantage of this is its got layers and etc. But its meant for a certain label type, the Neato ones...

    Wuvles doomie

    *Edit*

    Er since you say that the label adhesive screws up CDs.. is there some other type of adhesive that doesn't, seeing as I'm not actually using a label?

    White Elmers glue. Put a dab on the back, then smear it over the whole back of the label so that it's all covered with a thin layer, then stick it on that muh.

    It's water based, which is why little kids eat it and don't die, and assuming you stick it on right, shouldn't cause problems.

    Or, you can make a rectangular type deal and then tape it on, but whatever works.

    Markers = the best.

    Labels are expensive and take some time to fit on the cd <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Burn, pop out the CD, scribble in unreadable writting the name of the CD and there you go <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You can also print to a file on your computer, then send the file to your friend with the printer.

    Well I wasn't actually going to print on a label - just some glossy photo paper like the stuff you would use to print a digital photo.
