Trouble With Geekplay

<div class="IPBDescription">cant play</div> ive got a prob with geekplay fellas:

ive downloaded gp6 and it worked nice until i tried to view a demo.

Its lagging now too. lots of bitmaps stuffed together. i tried to speed the demo up, but that was just a bad idea <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'>
But the readme tells me something here, though i dont get it: <i>* Ability to playback demo both as playdemo and viewdemo. <u>Viewdemo
is a more advanced playback mode that supports slowmotion</u>,
fast-forward, pause, jump between frames and more. All in a GUI
with a timeline.</i>

i c there is a commandline slot, and i guess it has a purpose. how do i use it?

how is it thing <u>really supposed</u> to work? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

bets thing is not to use it ut put demos in 'serria\half-life\ns' folder and go into your 'ns console' then type 'playdemo <i>filename.dem</i> I think .dem or whatever file extention thatcomes with it if not don't put a file extention on it

Don't click on any of the boxes.
Startmovie is for converting your demos into avis and mpgs.
Timedemo is for superfast viewing.
And Veiwdemo has never worked for me.

Heh - not for me either. It just makes everything freeze, but everyone onscreen moves backwards. Then when you hit "play" it moves one frame forward. And so on. Bleh.

But it works in its other aspects. I used it to view those US vs Eu demos and that went splendidly. As do my own demos.
