<div class="IPBDescription">How cool........</div> Im not sure if this has been mentioned before (my search function appears to be broken). i have recently (2 mins ago) have watched the NS trailer on <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/' target='_blank'>Natural Selection.org</a> and have noticed how it shows a brilliant aspect in the game from 1 of the best views.

    has anyone still got the plug-in for the working lasers the marines have? (shown in the trailer)

    I think the lasers would be pretty hard to use in a demo/video well, you'd have to control exactly where you were looking all the time. And it would illustrate the oddities of Half-Life movement a lot more

    I have seen that video many many times.... I love the lasers also but I love the nightvison <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> a lot different than the plug-in nightvision ive seen (just green) ..... **sniffle** i want the nightvision and lasers **sniffle**

    Also note that almost all marine weapons and turrets seem to have a red dot on the business end of the things...perhaps at one point, the modeller was told to make them so all weapons have laser sight?!

    Nah, he doesn't cheat, there are parts where his gun is obviously missing the enemy and aim bots just don't do that. He silent bhops, which is a very effective way of getting around.

    I forgot about the trailer.. I saw it the first time I visited the site and just a few weeks ago.. but thats all.. I wish the marine radar would tell you the room like in the begining part.. Thats the least we could ask for.. But lasers and nightvision would also be damn cool..

    and on a completely unrelated note, What the hell is Dead Dan rambling about?

    ERm....except in a very foggy area you wouldn't see the lasers. Besides, I think the lasers on the helmet is for the com, NOT aim.

    I.E. you laser target things you see and it transfers back to the com. Also useful for laser targeting for the siege cannon.

    We could only dream of such a thing...
