Does Anyone Think Summer Sucks?

Seasonal Debate - Flame the Flames
Nothing meant to be too serious here, just a question:
Summer seems to be considered the "fun" season of the four seasons, where everyone goes out to enjoy the sun. I personally like it the least, just too hot for my comfort, I'm paranoid of UV rays, yellow grass is depressing, and I think I FINALLY got over my hay fever.
And the thing that makes summer "fun" I feel is not the weather itself, but rather society decided to pick it as the time when people take time off work/school the most (possibly because the heat lowers productivity?), so we have no choice BUT to enjoy the season because it's the time we have our biggest break.
But what if society were to designate another season to be the "break" season. Wouldn't that make it most "fun" of all seasons? I prefer to have mild weather over the bloody hot weather we had yesterday - and this is coming from Vancouver, a generally very temperate city. I think it would make summer a rather dreaded month other than for ice cream trucks, and making you more addicted to water.
Bottom line: Summer is overrated. - Yay/Nay?

So my answer to if I think summer sucks, just ask my fondest memories.
I second that, pretty girls in skimpy clothes = teh win
Hot hot hot hot arg i am on fire = fail
Weee ice cream / no school / holidays = win!
In other words, yay.
I just like the fall more than summer. Even though it means going back to school, it's just...nicer. The weather gets to be just the right temperature (i.e. not sweltering hot), the leaves' colors can be quite beautiful, and the crisp smell in the air is just terrific. You get to meet new people and play/watch the best sports (school football for watching and soccer for playing). And - this may be me, but - I think the girls are prettier when they're wearing cute turtlenecks and such clothing. Bikinis are almost, I dunno, trying to hard; I think it's much more impressive if you can make a sweater look good. But hey, to each their own. But I'm a person who prefers a girl without any make-up on to a girl who has gone all-out with the face paint, so I guess I can be a bit weird.
go away now.
What the hell?!?!
Yellow grass? Where do you live and remind me never to fo there.
Personally.. I like fall the best. Not too cold, not too hot. Still warm enough to see the skimpy clothes, but cold enough to see things poking out
Although, spring has it's perks. A little colder, so not much on the skimpiness.. But it's alot wetter, so anything white becomes just spectactular.
Out of the four seasons, Summer is my least favorite. If it weren't for football starting in Summer, I would probably not have anything to like about the season. Hot, sticky, sunburns, dead grass, sweaty -- bleh. Give me Fall or Winter any day over Summer.
80 degree's = I get loagie
90 degree's = I sleep. a lot.
I'm a winter man myself, nothing like goin outside with khaki's, t-shirt and a black neckwarmer for some fun. HUA!

Vancouver B.C.
Well, it's because I live right across a huge grass park, and in spite of being one of the biggest water consuming cities, what municipality would blow a load of money just to have sprinklers installed to keep football-sized patch of grass green? Residential lawns are generally a healthy green though.
I guess the another nice thing about summer is the certain fruits available at the market exclusively during that season, but it's still only a token incentive...
So you like Summer because women wear less? Huh... I hope you don't have a girlfriend.
No Biking + slippery cold stuff = BAD
I rest my case.

Last year it raind solid for 6 weeks near enough, we had the worst flooding in years, with briges/roads sliding into lochs/lakes/rivers/burns, flooding, leaky roofs, rivers flowing down hills in a city.
Spring has been unusaly dry and warm.
Still summer = good, girls tend to wear less (being a formar swimmer tho not nearly as much)
Winter = Not as Great As It used to be (global warming means less snow more rain)
Yup, being in Scotland, summer is a bit of an abstract concept, still this weekend has been nice.
Amen...
