Blood-patch For Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">Red blood for alians and marines</div> Hello. I am new in NS and want to download a blood-patch. But I haven't found any patch. I only want that the blood is red and that marines also have red blood. Can anybody help me to find this patch?

There is a server-side patch to make marines bleed, coded by hullu. The only thing you can do is to join servers running this mod.

It's called marinebleed and you'll probably be able to filter for it in the server cvars using <a href='http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/' target='_blank'>The All Seeing Eye</a>.

3)<a href='http://www.metamod.org' target='_blank'>Metamod</a> - you will need this to run the marinebleed plugin.

It's a lot of work if you've not set up a server before, I suggest you just play online and meet some real people. Bots won't give you the practice you need.

Installing:
Install like any other metamod plugin.

Cvars:

marinebleed_on:
disables plugin with value "0"

marinebleed_gorelevel:
default value is 1. If you want more blood make this larger.

marinebleed_bloodspread:
how much noice to extra blood spread direction angles. default value is 1. 180 cause blood spread every direction.

Notes:

I think that I have installed metamods. I also think that i have installed marinebleed. But where can I find the Cvars?
I don't know how to install plugins... Can I see it in NS, if MetaMod and plugins ist installed?

If you've got metamod and the blood plugin installed then load a game up, and in the console type 'meta list' and it will show all of the plugins currently running. If the blood plugin isn't there then type 'meta load' and then the file name of the plugin dll, eg 'meta load blood'.

If when you type any of the 'meta' lines you get 'unknown command' then metamod is not installed properly.

I didn't like the blood patch on Roob's at first, well I don't like anything at first, but that's besides the point.

The cool thing is that when you tag a lonely rine, not only you get the nifty tagging sound, but you also see this big swoosh of blood flying <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> hehehe

Hello. Thanks for the information, Zeus. But I have a problem with the console:

I start NS and click "console". Now I am in the consolte. I type "meta list" and press enter and nothing happens. Then I type something wrong (eg. "ddsd") and nothing happens. It it like this:

] meta list
] meta load blood
] meta
] dasdasd
] sassss

Why doesn't give the console an output? What do I wrong?

Hello. Thank you very much for the red-blood patch.
But now to my problem with MetaMods:
My Game-Dll is: rcbot.dll . If I change it to metamod.dll, I can open Meta-Functions in the console, but I can't play with bots anymore. In the file is a comment, that says, that the RCBot.dll automatically detect the metamod.dll . But it doesn't works. I have copyed the metamod.dll in the Counterstrike/ns/dll/ directory. What do I wrong? Hown can I play with RCBots and MetaMods?

hmmm i remember a topic in general discussion about this a while ago... anyways i think you put the metamod.dll in your liblist.gam and then load the rcbot.dll with the metamod load function.... anyways i like this mod but man do this rines have soooo much blood tho <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

The RCBots.dll is not a MetaMod-Module. Has nobody MetaMod and RCBots together running?
