I think it's cool if it does that for no reason

I think it's too far out because your origins need adjusting in the qc file, this will explain it better...

well what i do on ms3d is i ave the ns pistol and the gun and hands that u want to convert on the same view box. Then delete the ns pistol JUST THE PISTOl, then delete that hands(JUST THE HANDS AND ARMS) on the gun that u want to convert. The drag the pistol on the ns hands. Postion them correctly using or angles like back, top, right and left and so on and see if it lines up. then u will have to scale it either make it bigger or smaller so that it looks like a good fit for the ns hands. So there u go problem solved

Converting is a little more than just renaming the .mdl file.

I'd say it plays the gangsta style animation because that's probably in the idle2 slot in the qc file.

Everything you want can be performed by the qc file.

To make it closer to you, change the $origins, particularly the z value.

To stop making the weird animation play, make sure the list in your qc file matches the default NS one.

Converting usually involves changing the hands too.

Don't mean to hi-jack, but is there a guide to converting models over to NS anywhere? I have a few models in mind that I would love to learn how to convert over

Okay. I'll have to handle this one problem at a time.

Give me a problem you're having with it at the moment, Spawn.

Argh another screw up, and i did follow the tuts that i have and still it comes out iffy, but ive just remebered i already had a custom shotgun in my modles folder and i used the qc. file form that, would it affect it? i wouldn't think so but im stuck now.
