<div class="IPBDescription">What version.</div> I just wanted to know at what time you guys starting playing ns, ie: on halloween during v1.04 or v1.02 etc. also, if you can remember the other versions which one was your favorite?

    1.03. Sadly, because of time constraints, I didn't really get to know that version that well, so I only have one version truly under my belt. Not a lot of choices for best version there. ;-)

    Well.. since I joined... a month ago? More? I only know 1.04... so why was 1.00 turrets the best? *gets curioust, yet again.*

    In v1.0, you didn't need a turret factory for the turrets to keep working.

    I use v1.0 for bot testing a lot of the time, because there's no team limit so I can easily spawn 8+ bots simultaneously to test waypoints etc.

    turrets were also "good" in 1.0 because of the lack of strategies and skill. Hell.. when i was new to RTS games i always turtled in my base because i couldn't defend myself.

    Yep had to be halloween after going through the manual multiple times. The good ole days when everyone chose sensory first coz it was awesome to cloak.

    Er, well, I joined before 1.02. Good version, it was. I forgot when... I was playing around... November of last year. I joined the forums much later, because I only read them, then, too shy to post ^^.
    Best version has gotta be 1.03, because of: Recycling, Fades were 44, and just some other general stuff that was good. And the acid splash, can't forget that.

    Heh, I did the same thing. The manual was cool enough to pump me up before playing the game. Sensory first... ahh those were the days.... also, those were the days when you can drop down from the ceiling as a skulk cause marines seldom looked up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Also, turret farms would fill whole corridors, so much that you can't get out of the hive, and when alien victories we're really really hard won (very rewarding which made me become an alien player).

    In case anyone missed it, I started playing at 1.0, October 31st baybeee! Might have been 1st of November though cause I'm in Asia.

    V 1.0, on Halloween night, for twenty minutes, before going to a party. Managed to get a good taste of wall-running, but at the time I couldn't figure out why I can't reach the hive because an invisible wall was blocking me. (That's right folks, I didn't know what weldable areas were, although it was unusual how the fence was invisible to aliens.)

    I found out it was released, and rushed home, so, about 20 minutes after it released, haloween night. The biggest server you could play on was 4 on 4, because even then your ping was 600+. Played every day since then, had to upgrade my comp several times just to allow it to keep up with me and with the game. Those were the good old days..........the days my homie Crazy_Monkey and I would get 76-3 skulk kill-death ratios :-). I never played marines until 1.03, since there was always a kharaa shortage. Man those days ruled!
