The Last Movie That Really Scared You

<div class="IPBDescription">What was it?</div> I'm sure some people will think they have "better" scary movies, and that I'm such a "wimp" because you guys are all "leet", but the last movie that <i>actually</i> scared me was The Ring.

It was just so creepy.

Anyway, what was the last movie that gave you a really good scare? Not just a jumpy fright kinda thing, but actually made you scared. So don't list any movies like Anaconda, or Lake Placid, or garbage like those movies.

Event Horizon. Turned me on to the entire genre of "scary movies," but none have ever come close.

The Ring was a waste of my time.

Event Horrizon and The Exorcist scared me a bit.

I wasn't scared hardly at all by The Ring, though it was supposed to be scary heh.

Call me a pansy, but The Sixth Sense scared the crap out of me...

Actually, that Sixth Sense was scary at multiple points. Like when they would show like another person, and then the person would turn to a different angle, and you could see that they will royally messed up.

    Yah, that was kinda weird.

The one part in The Sixth Sense that really creeped the hell outta me was when he saw the hanging corpses.

    *shudder*

I wonder why no one else thought The Ring was scary. I was pretty creeped out by the whole idea of it, it just kinda disturbed me. Later that night I was on the couch watching another movie and the window was open behind me. The wind blew the curtain onto the back of my neck and I freaked out, hehe. Thought it was that evil little girl.

I don't want to see all macho and stuff, but I can't think of one movie that I've ever been scared of. The closest to being scared is when I jumped when something happened in 'Alien', but I think I sit to close to the TV. Now I fall a sleep to movies like that.

The Ring = lameness (except the funny part where the horse falls off the boat, not the ground up horse, just the falling off...it just looked so stupid)
Event Horizon = meh, not scary but it is a cool movie...I don't like watching wrist slitting though.
Pitch Black = not scary, but good action movie
Scream/I don't know....whatever/Friday the 13th/etc. = total crap, <expletive deleted>, worse waste of money and filming ever, I can't stand to watch stuff this stupid.
The Exorcist = pure comedy <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->, just like Anaconda, funny and pointless

Can't think of anymore. Then again, I don't watch many in the first place, most of them are pretty dumb (to me atleast).

I'll sensor my own <expletive deleted>ing self, no one else has the right.

Yeah, like the burn Victim. The part that made be go "Ugghh!!!" When the kid goes to the little girl's house and into her room and it shows her really quickly.

Or the kid who had like the shotgun blast or something to the head in his hallway in his house.

That freaked me out the first time.

I think it was a Magnum shot... Or the Mom! "YOU CAN'T HURT ME ANYMORE!" Or the first time you see the girl in the tent.

Yup. Sixth Sense was scary, but not only scary, but it was a good movie with a good twist at the end.

True, also! What about the people hanging on the Nuces (SP?) in the hall?

Signs was especially scary because I got to see the sneak preview. And I had no idea what it was about.
