Forum Problems: Can't Upload An Avatar

made a jpeg file (dimensions are 64x64, size is about 15kb) to use as my avatar, but when i select it and try to upload it, this error pops up:

The error returned was:

You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar

Yup, I've had that one, no idea why as my file was perfectly legit.

Try using a gif format, or failing that , if you have another paint program, try and re-save the jpeg in that, see if that works.

It might take a few attempts..

you can't upload avatars. You have to host them by your own.
