You's better appreciate the fading light and fan thingy it took ages using vertex manipulation because its at such an odd angle
Oh and i no r_speeds are high but i'm not even finished the whole map yet, give it time and they shall come down. . .mmmm. . I think some red spots are missing??
Caboose I like the way the curve in the first screen is created. It looks interesting. You said you were going to change the lightning. I think that if you use colorful textures (like the red floor grates) you should also use colorful (or atleast a bit colorful with colors a bit similar to the texture colors) lights and/or white lights. I also think you should reconsider the texture choice in some ways. Try to keep it to a certain style. The screens are kind of dark but I smell some interesting architecture already!
Moconnor Okay, you really should keep them if you like them. k, some progress on my co_ map, and it has a name now, co_paragon (might change btw)

the details you have inset into the walls don't mix well with the texture you are using on the wals. Other tha that though it looks awesome. The lighting is hot.
You'd put a map into rotation just because it looks good?
Anyhow some shots of co_savior, mainly a style shot, lighting is probably going to change as i've only spent 15 mins on it, might change the skybox aswell.
honestly thats the only thing i could think of nothing to say at all other than that the arcutecture isent bad its not to busy its not to bland lightings a bit to bright other than that just makes it look like a little kids room
I quite like the look of this, and actually the stairs struck me as looking pretty good. I think that a Marine could still make it up them in RL and we know that they're not too steep to be unclimbable in HL.
The skybox is in the right direction, thought not quite there. I like the idea of a bright skybox, most co_maps are set in dark dismal space. Maybe a cool colour that would compliment/contrast with the red lighting.
Where do those holes in the ceiling lead? They're a pretty nice touch even if they don't go anywhere. If there was a ledge lerks could go and sit there to spam spores and umbra and skulks can go silent-cloak-regen out of the way of any weapons fire. Then again if they were vents...

Don't worry i'm going to change the red lights to have overlays.
C&C please.
I thought the same though, but I couldn't be arsed looking for a new one at the moment.
1)
The lighting looks like it needs to be harsher, or add some deatil to the roof
2)
The stairs at the cc are to steep
a] make it a ladder
b] pull them out and use the 3 to 1 rule (3 units out per 1 unit up)
The skybox is in the right direction, thought not quite there. I like the idea of a bright skybox, most co_maps are set in dark dismal space. Maybe a cool colour that would compliment/contrast with the red lighting.

Good stuff
Meat_Popsicle - I've increased the depth of the gaps and inbetween and added a nice blue light.
Thursday- - I tried this, but I couldn't make it look good and realistic so i scraped it.
-[Kobayashi]- - Currently they lead nowhere and weren't going to but you've given me some good ideas so you'll just have to wait and see =]
anyhow enough talk more shots (higher res this time aswell)

I'll work on the cc area lighting tomorrow.
