When morpheus does that speech about the war ending, and isnt it worth dying for yada yada yada, does that bit seem like a trailor to anyone else? I just had a nagging feeling in my head that maybe i walked into the wrong cinema and the real film hadnt started yet

    Actually, it was simply a moment in which immense amounts of data - three crews and what's happening to them - have to be conveyed within few moments. Using the well known aesthetics of a trailer for it isn't that bad an idea.

    i was deliberatly vauge in the description, so i cudnt spoil the ending (smith is neos dad and trinity is an alien disguised as an agent disguised as a woman). It's the scene transmission that got me thinking i think, and the voice over-type parts

    yeah, it's not a bad thing (i think it's my favourite film), but it just got stuck in my mind. wondered if anyone else thought it too
