Sight Concept

In the ready rooms, they have floating signs that say "Join Marine" and what have you, and there are other signs scattered around like that.

I was wondering if that would work in a model as well- for instance, the LMG could have something like this rather than a scope.

Basically the sight (doesn't have to be like that, it was just an example) kinda hovers above the gun, glows a little and is transparent mostly like the signs. Underneath are little emitter like things for show.....

is it possible to create something like that in game?

It may not be realistic to have a _real_ hologram hovering above the gun without anything to display on, but this is the future and that'd be tight <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah, that's actually something I had thought about for the original lmg, but since that was constructed well before the recent transparent texture dll release it would have looked kind of silly.

    With the transparent texture ability, I think it'd look pretty cool . . .

    lol.. just a reflex red dot sight...
    it have nothing to do with holographic stuff
