could you add some kind of gimmick to wp that comm could type reasons or extra ordes to it.
for example when doing wp and holding **** (or something), you could add "wait here for few secs",
since as a comm i find it frustrating when players haves too long or hard names to write fast,
and if i'd just use say_team no-one wouldn't know to which i'm talking to <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

and then there's always those adventures who just are too impatient to wait next orders <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

A commander is usually way too busy to type all that out. You'll find the best solution, instead of upgraded waypoints is communication. Let your team know what you want done where. And although, not mandatory, using a mic makes a world of difference.

I get the idea but I think it would be a large waste of time to type out something when it would be much simpler to use voice. If you're comm and not using voice you're not living up to your full potential as comm, not saying your not good, but not as good as you could be. A mic costs maybe $9 at Best Buy or eBay or whathaveyou. A cheap headphone/mic combo costs maybe $20. Sorry, I'm just not for backwards compatibaility catering to such an idear <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Looking around online, even new, you can find microphone headsets at a stupidly low price, mine was about £4.50, that's around $7
