So what forums you use here?

1. Suggestions/Ideas - I like to see what crazy stuff people come up with and throw my own crazy stuff out <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

2. General Discussions - Mainly to keep up with all NS info, now especially when Beta discussions has been opened

3. Offtopic - Boredom is a scary thing

4. Mapping - I like to see what our talented mappers have done <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

1) General flaming- just to read changelogs, announcements etc, I ignore the rest.

2) Models and ludicrous requests..well, I'm learning to model and skin, so it's occasionally interesting, although some of the "omg! mek it like *insert obscure anime here* but mek it bloo!!" posts are deeply irritating.

3) Suggestions and lunacy. Everyone needs a laugh now and again.."mek a lazer that shootz teh big bombs and mek a bomber liek in wurld wor too!!"

4) Mapping- having spent 3 months of my life swearing at Hammer, I like to see what people with the dedication to actually finish a map are up to..

5) Off topic- Strangely enough, the sanest forum on the board, and my favourite by a considerable margin.

I hang out in OT and General. I occaisionally visit Strat pages, but I know everything. If I'm looking for a hoot, I go check the server admin forum. If I'm looking for a clan (I do this about once a month or so) I check the clan page and laugh at the ONE clan that's usually in there.

going to the S&I forums is like going to get a root canal... and forgetting to take any meds.

<b>Models</b> ('cause I'm a modeller - 67% of my posts are there), <b>OT</b> (because it's nice to see a forum where utter drivel is in the minority), <b>Artwork</b> ('cause I like to look at peoples' work and think "I could do tat much better" <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> ), <b>S&I</b> (for much the same reason as Hamster, who put it much better than I ever could), and <b>General</b> (for the rare occasions something interesting's being discussed). I used to go to the mapping forum, but gave up on trying to learn Hammer when I realised I couldn't come up with any decent ideas for maps.

3 & 4: modeling and off-topic (it's a tie)
5: General flaming...er discussion
6: : Kahraa strategy (go aliens)
7: Marine strategy (to bone up on how to pwn marines and debunk "leet" tactics
8: and I was a regular in the famed discussion forums
