Other people are reporting similar instances but with different numbers. I think Toca Race Driver for PC has some issues with Gamespy. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

That’s on avrage 146,129 people per server.
Damm they must some powerful servers and the game must have some 133t coding <img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'>

I remember seeing that TOCA Race driver error on Gamespy's website too. I considered taking a screenshot of it, but figured it wasn't worth my time. Yes, it really happened.

Of course, having this sort of thing happen from time to time is to be expected from this company. The day they rolled out the new FilePlanet "wait in line" system was the same day an HL patch, multiple popular demos and movies got released. The overflows were so major and so often that I was able to take a screenshot of when there was a negative number for the wait time in line, and a large number with a decimal place for the number of people in line. Time travel and fractions of humans? At the very least they should've set up better servers to keep up with the demand that 1st day...
