where does it live?
OK, noobish question here.
I have winzip, I use it most days, yet I just realised I have no idea where it lives on the harddrive.
I'm attempting to browse to it, ( y'know, when you "select which program you want to open this with" ), but I just cant find the bugger. I'm assuming it lives in the "windows" folder, but where?
Help!

xp got a semi-winzip installed by default, you sure you got the real deal?
I just need to know where to point the "open with" at..this is doing my nut in, and now my copy of winRAR seems to have disappeared from the H/D completely !
Alternatively, can someone point me at a free thing that extracts pk3 files?
Thanks, but my WinZip is in C:/Program Files/Winzip.
I dont know where u have installed winzip, but default would be "C:\Program Files\Winzip". Just uninstall winzip, and install winrar, which is placed in "C:\Program Files\Winrar".
Or better yet, use Total Commander (a filemanager), u just have to press ctrl+pgdown on a file, and the packed file is shown as it was a directory, no need to associate pk3 files with a packer util.
For ur information, .pk3 files are just zip files.
