Have you ever felt that sometimes you had to put aside your ideas or hopes for NS because strong community feedback in any certain area of NS, regardless of the perceived consequences of the action ?
( In note to how impulsive the community can be, especially in Ns v 1.x in which many ideas were revisited multiple times)
QUESTION :
Is your first concern to cater to the community as a whole, or the inner circle or certain select groups of the community, IE. Other developers and/or Playtesters ?
* Will there be the old fashiond Half-Life csay messages ("HudText" message). * Will the amount of registered messages be decreased? (example, merging 5-6 messages into one, then the first byte telling the client what type of message it is, this would prevent a likely hood that programs like C-D wont work (as they register 2 user messages). and NS is already using near the max amount of messages that can exist. * Will you be adding Marines Vs Marines & Aliens Vs Aliens? * Will the commandmenu.txt work properly in 1.1? (mouse no workie when you bring it up unless you do toggleeditps) * Will the standard MOTD message be fixed to where you can move the mouse and be able to click "OK" ?
