<div class="IPBDescription">It's nearly here!</div> Given that half life 2 is being demonstrated next month at E3, and the game is expected to be released before the years end, can we expect NS2 to become available shortly thereafter?

Favourite feature of HL2: physics, where to can actually shoot the bodies along the ground! I can't wait to see skulks get blown across the room by machine gun fire, or marines get tossed around by onos!

this is why we need an official NS/HL2 sticky post. this is what, the fifth, sixth, seventh post about HL2 and NS2? and of course all others got locked, just as this one will, but no one learns because it dissapears under all the other topics!

I looked around and didn't see any HL2/NS2 posts, posted this and got put in my place. The related posts were 3 pages deep in the forums (I only looked that deep after getting put aright). It seems that people are more interested in other topics than HL2, and that is their right since this is a community. But, being a community, there are always multiple posts about similar topics. The point of this thread was to stimulate discussion about the impact of the new engine upon NS, rather that simply say "yay!".
