Lol, thanks Ollj, Im following this tutorial http://www.thewavelength.net/oldsite/level...torials/03.html for my first H-L mapping leson. Its say to "create a brush to punch a hole through my wall, using Worldcraft, but im using Hammer, and having trouble finding the "CREATE BRUSH" option. From what I can tell, I should realy be Clipping it? Thanks for your help!
some times the tools have lots of names, but if you build something its normaly the block tool
i wish that oktageone did not have a server hard ware stuff up, or i would link you to then 80 page tut on how to make maps for ns - any how, google up this paghe http://amckern.actionrealm.com/rescource/tuts/ns.html and use the "cached" option
(you might have noticed the same HAMMER-Icon And that its mentioned on the download page)
The "Block tool" is the fifth from above. Carving in worldcraft is no good idea because the results suck most times. Use clipping instead. The clipping tool is the ninth from above. Klicking the button more than once toggles between 3 modes (same with vertex manipulation tool wich is the 10th from above if you dont know)

Edit: Heh, just clicked my own link and discovered that google's cached version is just a 'coming soon' placeholder. Guess it was never online long enough to get cached.. so, my apologies scott, you were right - Amckern, the link don't work.
