<div class="IPBDescription">Screw Planet Side</div> Yes its time to weild our light sabers, drive our AT-ST's or become a pilot of a tie fighter in a huge space battle with over 2 million people yes its star wars Galaxies. This game allows you to become what every little boy wants to be a jedi, of course theres the other people (like me) that think the empire is by war the best and i will hasen my way onto starwars galaxies with the hope of becoming a star destroyer captain. The problem is will this be just another star wars rip a crap game with a logo stamped on it. the ansrew to this is of course No this game is special it has more veriety than any other MMORPG out to date and even planet side diffrent as it is with its tanks and ranking structure can not compite with a rebal vs empire on hoth battle

yes this game is going to be great it has every thing that you could imagine it also has the freedom that if your good enough you can take over the entire galaxie and declare your self ruler. So build yourself a driod army and before you know it the empire vs rebals could be long forgotten and McDonalds vs Burgerking arises as even a simple burger bar owner has the potensial of taking over.

    SWG Will suck for the same reason every other MMORPG has sucked thus far: It requires you to do repeatative tasks so that you can do what? Fool around in some little battleground?

    They are making it so frikin newbie friendly that theres not actually much to do in game. Now if SWG used a FPS style combat system, then it would be cool. It still uses the typical turn based combat though, what fun is that?

    PS= weak and underdeveloped, gets boring super fast, major holes in the EXP systems, such as not geting EXP for doing the thing your class is designed for (Engeneers dont get exp for repairs, same with medics and pilots and drivers and such)
    MMOFPS = should never be charged a monthy fee to play

    Galaxies = Long wait, hope it wont go the way of that other EA game Space above and beyond or what not, but looking forward to it.

    ahhh ever quest such a crap gaming experience the thing about galxies is you dont do reptitive tasks that the point of the same you do the same as most kill thing and level up at the start of the game or you could just sign on to the empire and rebels and earn your experiennce that way jobs include sieging a planet<------ read this yes planet the usualy cozey convoy mssions space battles all out wars 5000 vs 5000 thing, on the other hand you could be a shop keeper for those people that arnt so good at fighting by a ship maybe trade by security gouards by a robot manofaturing plant pump out driods upgrade it sell your stock for 5 times there worth to the empire, set up a mining contract pump out driods take over galaxie. You could become a jedi although it requires sevrel key taskes and then you will be hunted by darth vader and bobafet to the ends of the earth. So galxies is the standered MMORPG i think not, Planet side reminds me off a smaller less big game but the actions there C&C renigade just on a larger scale and did thet kick **** did that get game of the year heck no it did not it flunked but becouse it had C&C stamped on it, it was saved, i do admit planet side doues have some intresting features such as the drop pods but theres no reason for holding a base and thats a key flaw and people just give up to easy (if your wondering if im in the beta, i myself no but my cousins are and i had a shot) forinstance i was playing on this side (they were a greeny coulour) in some sort of hover tank i drove it into an enermy base and the guys stood there litrally stood letting my gunner blast them to hell i go away for tea come back the base has been taken back becouse no one cept it in check.

    its OPEN beta now, means they are just looking for flaws with serverloads and bugs, I doubt they will change the base EXP system
