Well im sorry, it happens. Did I mention anything about freindly fire? No. The a-10's were flying a bit high that day, and didnt see the reflective IR square paint on them..and they certainly do look like russian tanks from up top.

Answer: Almost, it has a very powerful gatling-gun, the A-10 Tank buster does have it to in the MOD. But you will have to at least shot 1000 bullets (it has 1500 from the start) for it to sink down... pretty unrealistic.
