Although English is not my mother language, I do my best to spell it right and use correct grammar. Not only is that a sign of intelligence, it is also nice in this "social environment", as correct spelling, punctuation and capitalization makes fast reading a lot easier. I don't like decyphering someone's text and tend to disregard posts made by people who show bad command of the language. Usually they have nothing important to say anyway.

Well, but Bush didn't write that, he spoke it, didn't he? Mistakes in speaking are much more forgivable, given the time pressure you must form sentences under. But in writing, you have all time in the world to make as much sense as possible.
I read recently that ending sentences with prepositions has become so commonplace in American english that it has become an officially acceptable practice, even in literary and academic circles. Yes, there are still a great number of sticklers for the old rules, but this is a great example of bad english stretching acceptable language.

ive noticed this too. i think its becasue we are used to it basically. people from other countries who speak english were taught it and so use it correctly

i am good friends with people whose native language isnt english, and they are better (technically speaking) at the language than me. because they learnt it in that technical way much like how we (british) learn french etc.

the major point i want to make is that people get too (to and two) worked up about things (the whole search function in this forum for example) yeah it helps but if its readable and i dont see where the problem lies, those that use 'u' for 'you' (which i do, it might have slipped in somewhere) and all the other abbrevs are entitled too,

Because one practice has lead to a degeneration in language does not excuse other lapses, nor does it make other easily correctable mistakes less irritating to the reader. Bad grammar, typos, spelling errors, and misuse or lack of punctuation will happen to everyone at some point, but to toss them all out the window due to sheer laziness or apathy is not excusable.
Also, if you think you <i>can't</i> be banned for any reason at all, you are very much mistaken. As MonsE is so fond of reminding people, these forums are a benevolent dictatorship, not a democracy.

If you're talking about the plural of something you DO NOT use an apostrophe:
There are lots of trees in the forest.
If you're talking about something belonging to someone else, you DO use an apostrophe (before the s):
"Q: Whose reply is this?"
"A: SoulSkorpion's".
If you're talking about something beloning to a plural noun, the apostrophe comes after the s:
When five Fades attack a base, the Fades' acid rockets get very spammy.
Apostrophes are also used for contractions:
it's = it is
I'm = I am
we're = we are (NOT "were")
hasn't = has not
While we're at it:
his = belonging to him
her = belonging to her
its = belonging to it. Notice that the possessive apostrophe is not used.
