<div class="IPBDescription">almost there</div> OK, as you may have noticed from my skeleton request thread, the first thing I want to do with this new skeleton is put Unleet's SC marine on it. It's pretty much done now, except for some vertex assignments around the upper arms and some very strange way the crouch anims have decided to mess up, with the right leg stuck out like that (pictured).

Oh, also in this thread I guess I ought to ask Unleet for permission to do all this <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

(edit: Jamil, consider yourself proved wrong <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )

I don't think that HA's and LA's should look so much like each other.

I mean, that looks like ownage, but I think someone should recolor that HA-version to red or something.

Great job man, and I hope you get permission. But I would really love to see it red.

Well excuse me for not psychically predicting that people would be dim enough to not realise I'd just used the skins that came with the download. If you want new skins, put them on yourself with HLMV.

Oooh no no no, sorry if you got me wrong.

I meant it more like a suggestion to someone who is interested, rather than a fault in your work.

Sorry for being dumb and saying it the wrong way.

You have done a great job dude!

Hehe. No problem - I guess I'm just a bit crabby this morning. My intention with getting this model on a HA skeleton though is to free up LA for another, non-armour model.

Oh, by the way. It looks like you got a hole in the middle of your torso there.

wow, I like that skin, looks great.

The only problem I can see is the hole in the chest, as Jamil said.

Aye - it's becaues Unleet's model is in two halves. The gap isn't noticeable in the LA version, but it's pretty severe here - I'll need to patch it up.

damn sweet a suggestion though, try making the torso a bit thicker, so that the marine looks more solid

imo THAT one would fit perfect as the HA version of the terran marine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

or we all have to wait till someone is doing the firebat for the HA <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

I had it on the HA bones for a while when I was remaking the skin to see what it would look like but I personally didn't like the HA animations. They just seemed dull compared to the LA animations.

Also the model should be one solid mesh.. where was it split at?
