Hi, just an inquiry if this is possible, cos I never seen it before

/me is a skulk, start of the game, ventilation, run through processing, into holo

A Rine drops falling down from the vent that comes from their base in teh corner that leads to holo, i just entered the holo room as he dropped down from the vent (that should have damaged him a deal)
so were both at one end of holo
I start running away back into processing, and he wacks me down with 3 pistol shots while i am running, jumping, all the way at the other end of holo

After that he kills 4 more skulks in a row very fast, and we all had something like "WTH"...

Is it possible to get through the vent at rine start in beginning of game, if someone gives you a boost or something? I thought the vent was to small, or did he /unstuck his way through it?

He said he was very good, although in the previous round he had said he was a noob, didnt score high, and now he said he had lied... blablabla No way of knowing if he was cheating, cos CD was off at that time (not the wondersolution, but CD gives a lil insurance)

Just checked it out, but how did the rines destroy the vent, if I am positively sure no alien has done it?

If u take a run up and jump into it, u can break it if u have the right trajectory. Also if ur have about 4 or 5 marines standing in a line all shooting at it they can break it. Its a hard skill to musta breaking through vents.

If you mean the grate in marine start in ns_hera, listen for the classic "will break soon" sound, and if you don't know what that is, SHAME ON YOU.
That grate can be destroyed, just keep on attacking.

as for pistols skills, yah it can happen

There are aimbots but they are not as common as people think they are

Vent can be broken, Marine can crawl through it, And there are marines that can do that.

While that is giving him the benefit of the doubt there is possibility he is cheating. Nobody thinks there are any cheats for NS yet and I havent confirmed it yet but I do have a very serious allegation against someone who was in our clan pub server. He was using lmg at first owning every skulk that came at him even in very hard to notice places, (yea MT i know, so we didnt accuse him of anything) while we just thought he was pretty good he kept getting better, owning us with HMG/JP from long range, (now NS uses cones instead of recoil so I thought this was odd). We kept asking him if he had another name he went under but managed to get his wonID, we checked over CAL to see if he was in another clan but no, we finally found him in the Hall of Lame along with a list of wonIDs that are known to cheat... So he was a known cheater owning in our clan pub server... I believe there are cheats for NS because nobody comes to ue` server and just owns us! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Everyone knows there's cheats for NS...
Any cheat that works in half-life works for basicly all mods seeing as it's the same
Only difference would be anti-recoil scripts and so which aren't the same in every mod

What's the deal with weldable's anyway ?
Can they be destroyed by anything but a welder ?
Are there 2 kinds ?
One which can and one who can't

That thing is not even a real weldable, just a destroyable entity. Never used a welder on it, but I guess it would work by just damaging it, not welding. And if you don't want to waste ammo, you could knife it.

You can easily have one guy knife open the vent in like two seconds and have someone boost him up there, we've been doing it all week last week in scrims and in our CAL match, pistol owns before you get cara and a couple quick shots is possible without a script, trust me if you get pistol scripted you can tell... good marines in the beginning of the game should own the skulks... was his name [C*B] Bill.dll, cuz it's common knowledge that he hax <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

If you were trying to test out your weapons on the vent you have to make sure you turn on sv_cheats if you are all alone otherwise you can't blast it open i don't think.

Bill.dll doesn't really hax, he's just a FW wanna-be.
