<div class="IPBDescription">I played HALO last night.</div> I got to a ministry house down on campus at around 7:30 , and we set up 4 X-boxes on 4 TVs.

I played until 4:30 AM.

I'm pretty sure the only reason we stopped is because two friends of mine both said "Dude, I can't play anymore," after shutting the other guys out 5-0 in Sidewinder CTF. We had 8v8, with no radar detectors...

I am sooooo friggin tired right now, but i still have enough mountain dew in my system that all I can do is sit around and contemplate the fact that I played 9 hours of HALO yesterday.
Have you guys ever done anything like that?

I actualy havn't played Halo yet (no one I know has an XBox <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>)

as for sick things like that:

Wake up ~10AM

Goto sleep ~11PM

Play DoD (2.x) on one server, on one map (Hill)
End up with a score around 20K (and an admin slot on the server)
I did eat, however I simply ran down grabed food and brought it back.

play NS until 7 in the morning, went to sleep when I noticed my parents woke up <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> Knowing that I start my vacation days at more or less noon, that makes 17 hours nonstop.

Ouch meh eyes. I won't blame flay for my poor vision tho he's my god <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

My first (and so far, only; need crying smilie) LAN party went more or less like this:
Arrive @ 10AM, set up.
Play till 5:45 AM next morning.
Sleep 1 hour, 15 minutes
Play until I leave at 11PM.

Don't know if that counts because it wasn't all one game, but now I want more LANpartying <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

First, play NS, CS, and C&C Generals all day, stopping only for food. Stop for some IRC and system patching, then resume for some more CS. Play long into the night - so long, in fact, that by 5:30 AM, only you and a friend are on the server, screwing around with only scouts and knifes.

Stop the CS when friend passes out from exaustion and start up Generals. Play through entire chinese campaign in four hours. Continue to play Generals until 2:30 PM, then stop for food. After short food break, play NS and browse forums until 9:30 PM. Stop and eat. Resum playing for 30 mins until brother hauls you off computer and into bed at 11:30 PM. Sleep 15 hours.

Trust me, it's great fun!

(BTW, I've done this kind of thing many times)

worst ive ever done is with Red Alert: Retalliation for the PS1... Got up at about 8, shipped me PS1 and tv into me brothers room with a link cable (he had PS1 + tv nall). played that all day till about 11/11:30. Amzing thing is, we only got through 2 or 3 games ALL DAY.... only stopped for food, and a **** break, but that dont count, as my bros room is right next to kitchen and bathroom

Geez, this thread makes me feel positively unpathetic. The only time I ever pulled anything even REMOTELY like that was back 2 summers ago I literally played TFC every single day for at least 4 hours a day on the same server. But I never pulled anything as long as 7 or 8 hours at a stretch.

Yeah, I see nothing wrong with a late-night gaming session with friends, but all alone is a little weak.

It's mroe fun with friends anyway.

friends: What the frick? *gives me the finger* (Friends then make comments on the promiscuity of my mother.)
/me laffs.

The "party" effect is what makes the games fun. 1 hour HALO games, punctuated by short bathroom breaks and Mt. Dew.

beat halo (on 2nd hardest) in one sitting, took us about 8-9 hours, methinks.. Then we played TCF for a while.. then I passed out.

Yeah, halo was kinda fun. Can't wait for it to not suck, too bad that won't happen.

But the fun thing about halo on Xbox is the 4 player socialization that goes along with it, especially if you have a buddy and crank up the difficulty to legendary and play co-op, but 4-16 player Free for all all night long is a really good time.

Yeah, it's much easyer to get 16 friends on an X-box than to get 16 friends on CPUs.

yeah, but i only play the whole night in the weekends or during the holidays, on a normal day i just play as much as possible, which is from 15:30-22:00 while im here at the continuation school.

I guess I can see that, but I think between HALO, Metal Gear Solid, Project Gotham racing, and the soon-to-be HALO 2, It's worth buying the X-Box.

I think I'll pick one up in the summer, after I get a job.

I played metroid Prime when it came out.. I turned the gamecube on sometime in the morning (cant rememebr) to make a long story short when I restarted it to see how much progress I made (it lists percentage of game completed and time) it said I'd been playing for 13:23 and I had 63% complete

heheh 13hrs and I didnt even notice I was hungry...... Nintendo brand games own
