Multiple Upgrades In V1.1

<div class="IPBDescription">... branch from The 3 Chambers Of 1.1</div> There seems to be a lot of confusion over whether 1.1 is going to alter the order in which gorges get chambers. As far as I know, the current plan is in fact to allow all the chambers to be built at any time, and to tie the upgrade level to the number of hives you have, not the number of chambers. (Would anyone like to verify this with an actual quote from Flayra? I haven't seen one.)

no, Flayra has actually never said this is in Natural Selection 1.1. In Martigen's Uber Suggestion Thread (when this suggestion was actually made), all Flayra basically said is that he likes the idea, and would certainly try it out. He didnt say WHEN he would try it out, and if i remember right, he didnt even mention 1.1. Personally, id like to see this implemented soon after 1.1, perhaps 1.2 or so. But for now, assume Natural Selection 1.1 will still use the same old one-type-of-chamber-per-hive-model.

Actually AFAIK Flayra never said anything about chambers. He commented only on all-Kharaa-availlable-from-Hive-1 but never said anything about chambers.

Flayra said that all chambers would be made <i>viable</i> for hive 1, i.e., that the current D-M-S oder would be broken. That's the only statement about chamber policy I'd be aware of.

If they made it like this it would be a big nerf to aliens.

Carapace 3 is far far greater than carapace 1 Silence/celerity 1 and Cloak 1. If aliens can only run around with cara 1 until the 2nd hive theyre crippled really.

Carapace 3 and Adrenaline/Celerity 3 is greater than Carapace 2 and lvl 2 in 2 more.

Sadly, they cannot tell all. They have "signed" a NDA, which does not allow them to say cetrain things without Flayra's or MonsE's permission. If they break the NDA, they could be viable to a lawsuit. Do you even understand that the chambers are being upgraded in 1.1? or are you happy just rambling.
