Sarcasm aside. This reminds me of a funny game I once joined.

The commander did build a couple of IPs, and someone said 'give us orders commander', and he just said 'GO KILL THEIR HIVE!', 'huh'.

He didn't spam medpacks or ammo at the hive, and we didn't kill the hive. But the <b>optimism was funny</b>.

It actually is the best plan for marines to attack the Kharaa main hive straight from the start (kidding aside). The trick is to take out their first and only resource tower. Don't bother taking out the hive unless you have enough marines to do it with. Once you've taken out their res tower, you'll be light years ahead.
