<div class="IPBDescription">Post your hillarious</div> What are some of the funniest moments in an game of Ns that you have had...

Mine was about 2 weeks ago on ns_tanith. Our marine team had just gotten wiped out, except for one. All of our IPs hade been destroyed. So he goes to die gloreously in battle. He enters cargo jumps down and.........gets stuck in an Aliens Res Tower. He experiments with crouching and we the spectators see that he is practically invisable. He hides there for a few minutes during which 3 Onos, 2 Fades, 2 Lerks, and 1 Gorge pass by him without even seeing him. I tell you there is nothing funnier then seeing a serveral-ton beast of death and misery run right by a marine armed with a knife <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> Well after serveal minutes of this he somehow gets himself unstuck. He makes a bit of noise and then rushes back into the tower. The whole alien team gets there and beginnins flailing around in confusion and rage. Onos chargin into walls, Lerks going wild with spores, Fades bilebombing everything in sight. Eventually they did kill him with a lucky spore shoot.

Okay maybe not the <i>funniest</i> but still somewhat humerous

I forget who, but they had a picture of a guy in the same situation (no IPs, hiding from the aliens) who was actually hiding <i>inside</i> the hive! He was standing on a DC and was in the little pipe thing sticking out of the bottom, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that pic.

as marines, the comm sent me a chair in the trigger_hurt area of antechamber (nothing). I jumped on that chair and built it. Never found me I finished by /killing myself <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

i was once a gorg in the map ns_caged, and we had Sewer as main hive. They relocated to generator, so vent was left. they had most of there stuff in shipping tunnels acess to vent passageway. The thing was , they had 6 sieges and about 10 turrets with pg/armory and a few jpers. Me and a clan memebr went in the hive's top part *very hard to notice if anyone is there* and i went gorg on top of him. after i went gorg, i go enuf for the hive. we also had movements in each hive, cuz the first gorg was dumb, but it turned outt o be good. i tolf them all to stay near the mvoement. but, the sieges never fired! so once it did go up, we had 5 fades, and they were like WTH?! then a guy saw the hive, and the sieges went off. but during that, all the fades/lerks got to a movement, and b00m! they popped into vent with umbra/swipe, and we secured Vent. it was truly a spectactualr site. and at the end, we all laughed at the comm so hard

When i fired a grenade launcher into a hive area and someone spawned right in front of it, killing them instantly. Moments like that are priceless.

We were in NS_Eclipse I believe.
The game was over, and one marine was left.
He was hiding in Computer Core, in the indentation that has a transparent texture over it.
He went so far back in the dark that no one could see him.
I, as a skulk, stepped in there on accident, and scurried up the wall a little bit, trying to watch for him from there, lol.
So I spent 10 minutes standing almost on his head, while the whole team walked by him for a while.
Atleast until he tried to fire, I heard the gun click, because it was empty, and fell onto his head.

Umm I was a marine in nancy, I had heavy armour and asked someone to weld me and then instead someone started shooting me with a shotgun:

Me: "Can someone plz weld me?"
*Starts shooting me*
Me: "Um, you're not healing me, you're shooting me with a shotgun."
*Random person starts laughing uncontrollably through mic*

Maybe you had to be there at the time?

One time A Jetpacker was at maintenence access on ns_eclipse and when he fell and slowly jetted upward from BELOW the walkway, I. a skulk, jumped right on his head and started biting him as he was flying around. funniest thing ever was in ns_hera the marines had built their entire base in the small room above their base well after 40 min of skulks the marines put up over 40 mines in that small room i head to that base and evelve into a fade for all of them to see....one even shot at me and i almost died but he just walked off (loser) so then i finish evolving and they were all like ooooohhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooo........i shot one acid rocket in their base and only the comm chair and a arms lab was still up (not enough mines huh?)

Ok heres my list, In one game (i forgot the name the one where you start on the brige of a ship, nacy i think) Me and a marine went out to save the res node right out side our base and to our dismay we saw 4 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tiny.gif'> wacking at it. So we hid in that little vent. They saw my buddy in the vent but did't see me so they all are blocking his side of the vent but he did't move so they stayed on his side laughing at him. In the mean time our base got killed by one of those Uno's and he said he was going to be nice and leave the chair and if the marine in the vent choud get to to he'd let him rebuild. So while they where still looking at that guy in the vent shooting pistol at him laughing all the way i snuck out the other vent (remember they did't know any other marine was alive i guess they did't look at the score) walked right behinde the Uno's (all the while the dead team mates said over mic "oh look at this sneaky blok(i guess they where from UK) hes going for the chair" "Go Go Go!" i got to the chair and they did't notice i crank out 5 IP's (5 people on the team and TONS of money) got a proto and arms up again(all the upgrading was done before all we needed as the buildings again) and next thing they know they have 4 HA/HMG marines blasting there Uno's they all dyed. We lost but it was funny.

This other time i was a com and we where losing and a lone uno came to finish us off we only needed a little more time intill HA was done and i had the money to dish it out along with the HMG's but they killed our armory so i was waiting for it to upgrade again. So we saw this Uno and thought it was all over. Intill i decided to be a jerk, i droped about 10 command chairs around the uno and sure enuf one of the got him stuck and he had to wack his way out of a ring of them. Well when we got out there was 3 HA/HMG marines waiting for him. We made a come-back after that and won the game.

One missle command the marines thought it whoud be a good idea to mine spam to kill the falling skulks (you can see where this is going) well we got to 2nd hive i went fade went to the 2nd lvl and said "bombs away suckas" *big boom* and this sever had a FF mod on so the mines whiped out there base as well.

Once there was a glich i guess and i choud drop Uno's in 1 pistol shot (no i was't cheating it was just some weird thing that happend) man i'v never seen to much swearing in one game.

We had just took the 3rd hive and built a phase into it the last two uno's come in whipe out the hive team all by one guy and he was't seen. They knew our base had no sentery's and we did't have HMG since half the team was dead and spawning still and the others where attacking an other hive. So they thought jump into the phase whip out the base right? Well that one guy still there said "some one get ready to jump into the phase but wait till i say so then jump right back" So i got ready he said "NOW!" I went in and i saw "Eidolan killed playerX with spawn frag" And sure enuf it worked with the 2nd uno too.

Other story close to that one i once "killed" 3 skulks that where standing ON the IP when i spawned.

on eclipse, some newbie had been buggin the comm for ha/hmg for ages, the comm had decided if he kept asking he wouldn't get any, but the noob still kept asking, anyway about 3mins to the end of the game he managed to run towards a ha/hmg that was meant for someone else. I ran ahead of him (opening the door on the way out). I happened to get my timing just right, the doors closed on him just as he walked through, and I picked up my hmg <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> .

well i've knifed several gorges, fades and an onos once...but probobly the funniest thing? I am in waste handling as a marine sealing up several of the vents, i get to one of them and i see a lerk pop out and go back in...meh...lerk...so i go back to welding...the **** pops out again so i stop welding and pull out my HMG the lerk runs away again. Back to welding then i hear him chuckling...so in return i start taunting. A few seconds later i hear some of those lerkish noises again and he is heading right for me. Right as he gets to me my welding finishes and splat...lerk is everywhere...and to add insult to injury this was before 1.04 so he gibbed...halflife gibs. We both had a good laugh about it.

New funny moment. Seeing a marine run from a fade, a lerk, 2 skulks, and a gorge. On ns_hera he ran towards holoroom. Got found in the firgure 8 shaped room. Quite funn sas he was able to <i>outrun</i> them for about 5 minutes. He get on an elevator <i>stops in place</i> pushes the button and <i>stays in place for entire 15 second ride</i> He then pushes the button again and runs around jumping like a bunny with ADD on high on crack and speed. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> Finally dies to babblers.

Tanith as a Marine.

Relocate to Waste.
Sometime in the game the commander does a DB (distress beacon)
8 outta 12 marines spawn in the original start room.
Marines look to left some look to right.
All 8 marines see an alien RT and a gorge building/heal spraying it.

Gorge slowly looks to right.

ns_nothing three weeks ago.... I was an onos on the alien team and the marines had just thier base left and i was making my way there. I get to docking wing 01 and from the marine base a Jetpacker appeared with a HMG and I guess he was making his way towards the Cargo bay hive. So I quickly change to parasite and manage to hit him with just one shot whilst he was flying past the resource point. He then falls like a stone down the shaft underneath the resource point and craters in a big pile of humiliation. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

Running around Nothing, having some good fun ambushing as a skulk when I decide to camp generator, directly above the node in the corner. Marine comes in, sits in the corner, gives the "Commander, I need orders" key a couple presses, and waits.

As soon as a res tower drops, I hold control, *CHOMP CHOMP* Go back up..

Another marine comes in, looks around.. starts building the tower from the corner. *CHOMP CHOMP*

Being a bored gorge regular on the server, someone made Sensorys first. Horrible, right?

Naw. Sitting in the hallway to Dockingwing from marine base, level three cloak. Two marines come up. *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP* Not a scratch on me. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

We actually would have won that game, the marines were so stupid. As soon as we got Vent, they seiged Cargo (?! Jeez. Seige our one hive? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> ), as soon as we secured Powersilo, they got Vent. Eventually, we had all three upgrades, and were really messing with 'em at the end. Nothing scarier then a skulk parasite killing a JPer trying to attack Vent. I laughed my arse off when that happened. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

I was sitting in generator room in NS nothing healing from some DCs.. when a marine on a JP comes flying in at top speed, hits some webs and falls strait into the pit in the middle of the room. I was laughing for a bit over that one <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

Another, I was skulk chomping at the RT outside the marine start in bast (I think? the one with no name hive). Then I think to myself.. "maybe I should shut that door.. so if a marine comes he'll have to open it, giving me a warning". So I run over and hit the switch, and see two marines heading right at me.. so I charge em and we all get squished in the closing door. Hehehe <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

1 onos above me, killed with lmg+knife.
2 more onos above me, one of them knifed till 2 more came.

"gibbed" is when in first person shooters you or someone else dies exspecially violently, as in crushed or blown up. Instead of there being a dead body the corpse fragments into peices, called "gibbs" for giblets. If you have played HL or some of the other less realistic MODs youll notice that when someone gets hit by a grande or rocket there are crushed bones and guts everywhere. Thats being gibbed. Its sort of an old term and out of fashion. Gibbed is probably better known as "Fragged", as in "blown into fragments".

Gotta be on Hera, the comm chair was down, but we had an armory and 2 IPs, few RTs.

Their hive was vent. Now we had lost the CC, no upgrades, etc So the aliens were **** around to kill us with fades or onos.

My CL rallies the WHOLE marine team(8 ppl on a pub <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'> ) And we rush to vent, we all made sure we had lots of ammo.

We loose 2 on the way, but proceed to shoot the hive dead.

Aliens were like WTH!?!?!?!?!?No comm chair and they still won !??!?!?!

Gr8 laugh <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

Also another had to be the game in 1.0 where for the last 2 games it was like 12-6(teams rines-aliens)
Then I sat there shouting at every1 in the RR, and we got a game going where it was 2-16(rines-aliens)
Funny if you knew the amount of marines team unbalance then, we procceeded to kick their **** <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

Last, and the first one I had in NS, 8 player onos rush on Eclipse in 1.0, finally the team rallied, for a RARE alien win, HUGE turret farm in their base and lots of mines. We all charged in, we all ran past the turrets(they were at the doors) and mauled their base, while their precious turret farm was out of range to shoot us <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>
