I got in! I got in! Hunter College, part of the CUNY (City University of New York system). Very good school for my GPA. About 11,000 a year, with room & Board. Plus, my girlfriend got in! HUA!

    college isnt all its cracked up to be. It is better than high school though. But since your major is non-technical, hopefully it will be easier than what I have gone through.

    Not exactly from...
    Born in Laramie, Wyoming (middle of nowhere cubed)
    Moved to NYC when I was 5
    Moved to Vermont when I was 7

    I go back to New York at least 2 weeks each year. 13 years now. And my girlfriend's parents (dad & stepmom) live @ 108th and riverside. And my girlfriend got in to Hunter too! Hopefully I get dormed and she does too.

    I know what you mean. It seems like everybody here parties, but I have to study all the time. Of course I go to Riot capital USA, so maybe its ok not to party here..

    Judging from my friend and his friends who do Philosophy, I gather you have to be pretty damn messed up and hardcore to be able to deal with it. Although, I'm not sure how it is in the US - but I'm sure you would touch on some Aristotle at some point, and he's a **** to understand ^_^

    Aristotle? Psha, I read Nietzche for fun! (well, haven't really started yet, the sheer fact that I have Nietzche is impressive). Plus I've got the entire <i>Divine Comedy</i> by Dante Aligheri in my room, waiting to be read...right after Anne Rice's Vampire chronicles.
