it seems some people are mad @ the admins, something like a clanner vs admins over playtesting in 1.1
I could run rampant with speculation here, but I don't want to.

we all know the rules, and I have faith in the NS community to keep this thread at room temperature, and if it gets out of control, or the moderating team doesn't want it to continue, thats perfectly fine with me becuase these forums are owned and controled by a private entity, and they can do with them what they see fit.
this thread is <b>not</b> for people to blast the adminstrators, or to complain about how unfair things are, if you want to do that, use the PM feature, and if any of this spill over into this thread, I expect the admins to have it locked immediatly. (sp?)
all disclaimers aside, let's have some nice discussion here.
The last time I was on the board was @ school this was around 2:30 PST, none of the locking, banning, or whatehaveyou had gone on @ this time (to the best of my recolection) and when I come back to the forums it's about 5:30, and gen has a few locked topics, big deal. Then I look @ them and I see people hurling acusations of administrators abusing there rights, talk of free speech, etc. (please correct me if I'm wrong, but site your source so I know it's not bull exriment) I think they were talking about how the veteran playtesters were going to be testing along with some beta server regs, the majority of which were clanners. and it seems perfectly logical for the administrators (I believe that spyder monkeh is spearheading the locking/banning for the majority) to want to put a stop to that. What I'm still missing is....what set this whole powerkeg up, and off.
feel more than free to write down what you said, heard, know about the events that went down today, but remember to <i>keep it civil</i>! I don't want this to get any bigger, I just want to know what happened, so I can look @ the facts for myself and make a judgement based upon it.
