Considering i live in wilmington i get an amazingly beautifull ping from the nscu server. Around a 9. Chances are that server is going down once school sends though isnt it.

I'm not sure what connection -NCSU-Porcha has at home. If it's a good connection he may run the server from there, I'll have to ask him. In either case it will be back up on campus in the fall.

Kenichi, I feel your pain. We have a nazi firewall system at UVic too... we can't host our own server. Anyone who's not on the UVic network will join with an 800 ping.

So instead, we play at: [WHO] Modified Selection -2- 128.208.47.23 *PLUG* <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

Its a good server with a good skill level, eventhough its a pub.

Nano-Gridlock, GotRice?, P&B's, D&S, FoR. All decent servers, most with around a 16-player limit, or with enough skilled people to be able to handle a larger game without having TOO overwhelming of a Marine advantage.

Personally, I avoid the 32-player H20 server due to the balancing issues, and Voogru servers as I prefer NS, and not NS:VE.

Anyways, I perfer Chi Mayhem and Alien Nations servers but for good small games with great competition and ping, go to vadakill's server.

Now We Dance server is my favorite. Mainly because im at A&M where the server is. (single digit ping, woot!!!!!). Poncho's and voogru servers are good stuff too. They all have good admins who play regularly so that people dont come in and ruin the game for everyone. i.e. tards who go gorge and put WOLS underwater and wait till marines find them and siege them, or comms who sell everything and spam health till no cash and leave chair.

You might be real dissappointed then with NS 1.1 comes out, because he's using lots of the ideas we have had for months. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>
