did yiu check the contact film under the keyboard (the plastic thing with the little copper elemnts that make the pattern for the keys) if the contacts are corroded then its funked, but you might be able to wipe it clean with rubbing alch.

umm and you should always use WSAD unless you plaing racing games <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

If you're willing to take your keyboard apart, check the two plastic contact layout sheets for any damage. The 'wires' are very easy to damage, and anything acidic (<i>Pepsi, for example</i>) is sometimes enough to decay the leads.

My keyboard died that way a few weeks ago. I'm using a really crappy keyboard from my LAN pack at the moment because the only place in town that sells the keyboard I want is out of stock. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

'Course, then I'll just end up editing them anyways.

Been using the arrows since i was 10 :/ im now 14.

What i find awful about wasd, is wrong key pressing.

This film, would it be under the plastic thing (if so, how i check it) OR in the keyboard (how i check it) <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

You've got to take the keyboard apart to get at them. It's usually two plastic sheets seperated by another rubber or plastic sheet.

They're pretty sturdy, so you can handle them with your bare hands. Just don't scratch the leads!! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

when you flip your keyboard upside down there should be some screw holes, when you remove the screws you can take the keyboard apart (if you are looking at it from the top where the keys are)you will find a rubbery type of sheet under the keys, and under that sheet there should be another thin little plastic sheet that has these copper (or grey) colored leads/connectors they make a pttern for the keyboard, and as the dude mentioned above, even one drop of pepsi can nuke em, they are very sensitive (cheap production) also its very important to remember the order in which everything was on the board, cause u can easily misalighn it, it should only be done if you have an expensive board (the ergos from microsoft with extra functuions) umm if your boards was $30 or less dont bother it not worth the trouble
