I'm not sure, but it looks kind of like a homeworld ship. If it is though that would make it the Taiidan Defence Fighter, or it could be the Cataclysm Worker.

Heh, sorry, I don't think anyone got this one right.
Unless this ship is indeed called Yamato in the series that is... but it's the ship from the Irresponsible Captain Taylor anime.  (Hasn't seen much of it, just one tape somewhere near the beginning of the series.)
