Nope, the marine in the cc counts as part of the building, and sporeclouds don't damage buildings.

Of course, if the entire team goes lerk and does nothing but spore the CC, when the comm finally does get out, he'll go down instantly.

If there are 3 hives and the marine base is being cloud spammed, and there is no relocation, he can sit in that chair all he wants, he's just delaying the inevitable.

Actually yes, I played a game yesterday, and I was marine, alien had 3 hives. We have been able to take one hive out by GL spammage and after a long fight (the game was over 1:30 hours) we won.

yeah, i finally gorged up three hives, to my dismay i discovered that i was playing with the nc-cd clan and all of my friends had left, playing agaist some one who usually comms and relies heavily on jet+hmg rushs........ you can guess how it ended =x

oh and the marines relocated and had at least 15 unbuilt command consoles surrounding the real one.. good to decieve but waste of res imo.

but do they deploy at your current position or do they shoot to a distance like the spikes?

The spore cloud fires pretty much like a spike. point the crosshairs at a point on the wall/floor/ceiling/etc., and the cloud will appear centered on that point.

I think he meant 31/1 of an hour which would be 31 hours not 30 and was still wrong. 1:30 is a ratio rather than a fraction... but I can't figure out what that means???
Perhaps 1 hour felt like 30 ?
