<div class="IPBDescription">NOT when will it be released</div> Just curious as to how you plan to do it? Will it be as 1.0 where you relased the server a couple of days before the client, or will it be both at the same time?

Due to issues with the pre-release of the windows dedicated server, I suspect that if Flayra releases the server files early, he will only do so for the Linux build. That's his call, though.

This is what I meant about the windows server - the Linux server cannot be "hacked" in this way. So if Flay does prerelease the dedicated server, it will likely *only* be the Linux version.
I bought CS RETAIL and found that i needed to patch it a few times...well...about 5 times actually.
the most likely place to find it, or so i thought... would be the counter-strike website. I was suprised to see they only hosted the latest patch. Are they stupid? After what seemed like hundreds of broken links and non-existent mirrors, I finally found the patch i needed, and could finally install the other patches which were on my PC Gamer disks phew...
So please, dont remove the patches when a new one comes out, because it makes life so much more difficult for new players, who have to frustratingly go and scan the web for them. but then you arent the CS team are you, and i trust that you wouldnt even dream of doing such a silly thing. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
When 1.2 comes out, we'll see... there may be a 1.1->1.2 patch and a 1.0->1.2 patch, or there may just be a 1.x->1.2 patch. *shrug*
In my experience I have been able to zip an 8 meg .bsp down to 3.
I do however agree that maps would be the biggest chunk of the download. Just thought I might give my 2 cents.

Some people say 'George' too, which confuses me greatly.
i dont mind people typing it out but wen they say it over the voice comm it kinda aggravates me. I dont really know why i guess its just a pet peeve. OT i dont call it gorge either, its fatteh. must. DIE!
This is of course, another misnomer. As my predecessor H4xwell pointed out, the proper term for the builder is "Fatteh", and 1.2 tooltips should be changed to reflect this fact.
