wireless network issues
whenever i try to play any type of game, either lan or internet, my game freezes once a min for about 4 secs (i first see everybody else stop then i freeze then after 4 seconds everything unfreezes and i cant move for another 2... its like i push forward and its all choppy and it wont move me and i hear a type of wave noise.). i have all latest drivers and firmware but yet nothing. the computers cannot connect to each other through the network so im guessing that my comp has trouble talking the the router. p.s. i almost always get below 100 ping.
My specs are:
- Pentium V 1.8 ghz HP
- Geforce 4 Ti4200; SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
- Windows XP Home
- 1024x768 OpenGL
- game freezes once a min for 4 sec then i cant move for another 2 after
- not running EAX
- MR314 router with a MA101 USB adaptor

usb might cause problems, can you play connecting directly to your modem?

Are you running latest firmware? http://www.netgear.com/support/support_det....asp?dnldID=191 I don't see anything specifically about this at the netgear site, but they patch for a reason...
