How does it work?
I am really looking into the game Star Wars Galaxies to see if I would like to play it or not. The more I find out about it, the more I love it. It is a pay to play game and I was just wondering how you pay. Do you have to use PayPal, do they send you a bill to your house?

Every one I've played, you register on their site, and enter your credit card billing information; they add the charge to play to your bill every month.

UO also had these certificates you could buy in game stores like Electronics Boutique, that cost about the same as a month's play cost, you'd enter the certificate number in your account info on their site, and it would credit you with a month's play time.

Also, just a small note, most MMORPG's and such usually give you a month to try the game out, for free. So if you really just want to try the game out, this would be a great option.

not to mention that many do allow payment via checking account as opposed to credit card, to help target younger audiences.

what? the charge is almost always by month, but you can also usually buy it yearly for a reduced price then if you were to buy 12 months.
