To win, you must use a variety of strategys, E.G - Hive rush: Capture a hive early game and defend it well. This wont win you the game so it would be good to go to the next unoccupied hive and get it too.

This requires defensive strategys and not running out and attacking enemys will you lose ur outposts. When you have jp/hmg and gls its a good time ot take the offensive. Don't try to kit every1 up in the expensive gear, get one or two and just defend them with normal loadut marines.

Actually, the JP rush seems fairly reliable in 1.04, unless you've got a really sharp difference in skill (or fps) between the individual aliens and marines.

Aliens generally can't go wrong with a combination of containment (to keep the marines from popping the gorge and/or taking res towers) and harassment (to slow the inevitable tech to jetpacks).

Have somebody that's not a noob play next to you, serriously help theese people, then again when it just came out all noobs, which was fun, but it died out quickly and got too completative.
