Do Comm Binds Stay Out Of Comm Mode

<div class="IPBDescription">the serch didnt work?</div> i am very interested in becoming a commander but i want to know if i set commander hotkeys and exit the comm chair do the previous bindings (for first peroson mode) come back or will the hotkeys i binded just do nothing.

is there a way around dead keys. (keys bound to hotkeys outside of comm mode)

Erm. You have to use Aliases I believe, which is beyond my little experience in binding. But to answer your question, you can set up hotkeys for commanding then hit a key to switch back to your previous binds.
